Reign è una nuova serie televisiva,nonché un drama storico,che ha debuttato il 17 ottobre sul network statunitense CW.
Per caso ho guardato il pilot e devo dire che l’ho apprezzato molto,nonostante non sappia quanto sia e quanto sarà accurato a livello storico,ma personalmente non me ne importa più di tanto.
La storia è la seguente : la giovane Mary I Stuart deve sposare il giovane principe francese Francis,così da creare un’alleanza fra Scozia e Francia. La ragazza,che è stata allevata in un convento,giunge alla corte reale francese piena di aspettative e felice insieme alle sua quattro amiche. Nostradamus però avverte la regina che Mary sarà la causa della morte del figlio,così la regina dà inizio al suo piano per liberarsi della giovane. A ciò si aggiunge un principe ,sebbene attratto, non curante della futura sposa,poiché impegnato in relazioni con altre donne,un elemento sovrannaturale,un re donnaiolo,intrighi,cospirazioni,una decapitazione e un probabile triangolo amoroso.
Tutto accompagnato da location meravigliose,da abiti d’epoca raffinati e da sottofondi musicali piacevoli.
Che dire,a questo punto non resta che aspettare i prossimi episodi

Reign is a period drama television series airs on The CW from the 17 of October.

By chance i watched the pilot and I really love it,despite I don’t know how much it was and how much it will be accurate on a historical level,but personally i don't care.
The story talks about the young Mary I of Stuart who must marry the young french prince Francis,so as to create an alleiance between France and Scotland. The girl, The girl, who was raised in a nunnery,arrives at the castle happy and full of expectations with her four friends. Nostradamus however warns the queen that Mary will be the cause of the death of his son, so the queen begins her  plan to get rid of the young. In addition, a prince, although attracted , heedless of the future bride , beacause he’s engaged in affairs with other women , a supernatural element , a king womanizer , intrigues , conspiracies , a beheading and a possible love triangle.
All accompanied by wonderful location ,by vintage clothes refined and pleasant background music .
What else can I say? At this point we have to wait the following episodes.

Muffinday

Cosa c'è di più dolce per distrarci da una noiosa giornata di scuola di un muffin? Ecco perché abbiamo deciso che il venerdì sarà il muffinday ! Una squisitezza al cioccolato che si scioglie in bocca e molto semplice da preparare, continuate a leggere e troverete la ricetta .


What is sweeter than to distract us from a boring school day of a muffin? That's why we decided that Friday will be the muffinday! A chocolate deliciousness that melts in your mouth and very simple to prepare, read on and you will find the recipe.

Ingredienti:

250 gr di farina

200 ml di latte

150 gr di zucchero

1 bustina di lievito

2 uova

1 pizzico di sale

80 gr di burro

100 gr di gocce di cioccolato

• 250 gr flour
• 200 ml milk
• 150 grams sugar
• 1 packet of yeast
• 2 eggs
• 1 pinch of salt
• 80 gr  butter
• 100 gr chocolate chips

Setacciate insieme farina, lievito e vanillina in una terrina. Quindi unite anche 2/3 delle gocce di cioccolato e il pizzico di sale.
Fate sciogliere il burro e lasciatelo da parte a intiepidire a temperatura ambiente.
Montate le uova e lo zucchero con le fruste elettriche o con la planetaria. Ricordatevi sempre di utilizzare uova a temperatura ambiente, facilitano il processo di incorporazione dell’aria nell’impasto.
Dopo aver ottenuto un bel composto chiaro e spumoso, prenderne una piccola parte e amalgamarlo al burro fuso ormai arrivato a temperatura ambiente. Una volta che si sarà amalgamato per bene, unitelo al resto.
Unite poco alla volta gli ingredienti secchi. Amalgamare delicatamente dal basso verso l’alto con l’aiuto palettina di silicone. Unire poco alla volta anche il latte per facilitare l’amalgama.
Versare ora il composto negli stampini per muffin, riempendoli per poco più della metà. Utilizzate le gocce di cioccolato rimaste per spargerle sulle superficie dei muffin.
Infornate in forno già caldo a 180° per 20 minuti.

Sift together flour, baking powder in a bowl . Then add even 2/3 of  chocolate chips and a pinch of salt . Melt butter and leave aside to cool to room temperature.Whip the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer , or with the planet. Remember to always use eggs at room temperature, facilitate the process of incorporation of air in the mixture.After you get a nice mixture is light and fluffy, take a small portion and mix with melted butter now come to room temperature. Once it is blended well, add it to the rest .United gradually the dry ingredients . Mix gently from the bottom upwards with the aid of silicone recess . Combine the milk a little at a time as the mixture .Now pour the mixture into muffin tins , filling them for a little more than half. Use the remaining chocolate chips to scatter on the surface of the muffin.Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

Ma soprattutto sono felice quando vedo lui.

RAINY DAY

Piove.

Ed io invece di stare a casa esco.

 E sì, sicuramente tornerò a casa tutta bagnata e con i capelli arruffati, ma non importa. 

Si pensa che la pioggia sia sinonimo di grigiore.

Il cielo è grigio, la città è grigia, anche le persone sono grigie.

E in mezzo a tutto questo grigiore io cammino felice con il mio ombrello rosso acceso, sentendomi un pò Gene Kelly in "Singing in the rain".

It's raining.

And I go out instead of being at home.

I'll come back home wet through with my hair matted and frizzy but i don't care of it.

It is tought rain is synonymous with greyness.

Sky is grey, city is grey and people is grey.

In all this greyness i walk happy with my bright red umbrella, imagining to be Gene Kelly in "Singing in the rain".

Oggi vogliamo parlare del film “The bling ring”.

Quanti di voi l'hanno visto ?

Il film, scritto e diretto da Sofia Coppola è tratto dalla vicenda realmente accaduta di una banda di ragazzi che, affascinati dal ricco mondo di Hollywood, decidono di impossessarsi dei beni di lusso delle star più famose.

Ritratto di un adolescenza vuota, irretita dal lusso e ossessionata dalle celebrità.

Secondo la critica un film con una bella intuizione ma con poca sostanza, assolutamente non all’altezza delle aspettative.

A mio parere un film dalla sceneggiatura poco credibile, seppur tratto da una storia vera, una vicenda dai risvolti inverosimili.
Niente di eccezionale, sebbene offra una visione concreta e reale dello sfarzo in cui vivono le celebrità.
Feste tutte le sere e vestiti in quantità, chi direbbe di no?
E voi che ne pensate? Quanti di voi l'hanno visto ?



Today we want to talk you about the movie "The bling ring" .
The film, written and directed by Sofia Coppola is taken from the true story of a boys gang who, fascinated by the Hollywood rich world, decide to take possession of luxury goods of the most famous stars .Portrait of a teenage empty , tapped by the luxury and obsessed with celebrity.According to a film critic with a nice intuition but with little substance , absolutely not live up to expectations .In my opinion, a movie from the script lacks credibility , although based on a true story.
Perhaps as movie is nothing although it offers a realistic view of the luxury in which celebrities live. Parties every night and many dressed  , who would say no?

“La vita umana non è altro che un gioco della Follia”

Con una citazione di Erasmo Da Rotterdam, si apre un nuovo post.

Oggi vogliamo parlare del suo libro più importante: l’elogio della Follia.

Si tratta di un testo filosofico, scritto nel XVI secolo nel quale la Follia, nata da Pluto e Neotete, si presenta sotto le sembianze di una dea che detiene un discorso in cui mette in luce le origini e gli aspetti benefici che essa dona al genere umano.

La Follia, quindi, rappresenta l’impulso vitale, che permette agli uomini di evadere dalle norme e dai rigidi dettami del 1500.

L’intento di Erasmo in quest’opera satirica è quello di denunciare, senza troppi preamboli, il contesto politico e religioso del suo tempo, cercando di riportare la vita umana alla purezza.

Un ottimo libro, che presenta una discussione ancora molto attuale e offre spunti di riflessione.

La narrazione è scorrevole per una lettura veloce e all’apparenza semplice per chi, però, ha alle spalle un minimo di conoscenze di tipo umanistico.

Today we want to talk about the most important book by Erasmo Da Rotterdam: praise of Folly.
It's an essay written in 16 century in which Folly, born from Pluto and Neotete, presents herself as a godness who talks about her origins and about her positive aspects.
Folly represent the vital impulse who allows to escape from the strict rules of 16 century.
The purpose of this book is to report the political and religious context of his time, trying to bring human life back to purity.
A beautiful book who, presenting a current discussion, offers a lot of considerations.
Reading is fast and apparently simple for those who had humanistic knowledge.

Chicago '20s

Hi beauties !

La notte scorsa ci siamo catapultate nella Chicago '20s. Abiti charlestone la facevano da padrona. E così come in "Midnight in paris" ci siamo ritrovate a ballare musica jazz con un bicchiere di scotch in mano. Le piume solleticavano le braccia e un odore di alcool si mischiava a Chanel n°5.


Last night we went back into the '20s Chicago. Charlestone dresses were mistresses. And just as in "Midnight in paris" we found ourselves dancing to jazz music with a glass of scotch in our hands. The feathers tickled our arms and a smell of alcohol was mixed with Chanel N°5.

WELCOME LADURÉE

Hei bellezze !

 Eccoci con un nuovo post dedicato ad una delle più celebri pasticcerie francesi. Dopo Roma e Milano è stata scelta una città toscana per l'apertura di una nuova pasticceria Ladurée.

E' Lucca la terza città della penisola ad ospitare la pasticceria rinomata  per i Macarons, famosi dolcetti francesi nati negli anni 50.

Il negozio, situato in Piazza Mercanti e' stato inaugurato il 28 settembre all'interno del negozio di Daria e Gianna Rebecchi. 

Vi lasciamo qualche foto del nuovo punto vendita che abbiamo avuto modo di visitare.

Here we are with a new post dedicated to one of the most famous French pastries. After Rome and Milan a Tuscan town was chosen for the opening of a new patisserie Ladurée.
And Lucca is the 3th city of the peninsula to host the renowned pastry  for macarons, famous French pastries created in the 50s.
The store, located in Piazza Mercanti, opened on September 28 inside the Rebecchi Shop.
